Youth Bass Anglers Conservation School
The Youth Bass Anglers Conservation School (YBACS) is a residential educational camp. It began in 2004 with a cooperative effort between the PA Fish & Boat Commission, PA DCNR – State Parks, and the PA BASS Federation. It is an intense multi-day program for youth between the ages of fourteen and seventeen. Participants learn from experts and professionals in various conservation fields from across Pennsylvania and the nation. The first program of its kind in the state, it has been held at Penn State University’s Stone Valley Recreation Area Civil Engineering Lodge along Lake Perez in Huntingdon County.
