Centre County weekend fishing report 3/17/06

It looks like the weather reports have “flip flopped”. Some sun and some good fishing are on this weekends’ agenda!
John at John’s Bait & Tackle in Bellefonte, PA reported that overall fishing has been very good this past week. Spring Creek should definitely be on your “short list” of places to visit this weekend. John says that the bait fishermen are having excellent success with meal worms again. The fly fishermen are doing extremely well on Midges. The smaller the better, sizes 20 and 22 are the ticket to success. Remember to check the PFBC website for special regulations when fishing Spring Creek.
