Black Moshannon Lake, changing gears to greenies
Sunday, July 2nd, 2006I’ve been hitting the smallmouth bass fishing pretty hard this season so I decided to change things up a little by hitting a the Black Moshannon Lake in search of some largemouth bass. Some folks call them “green fish” or “greenies”. I only fished about an hour and a half due to some other things I had to get done today. My fishing partner and I ended up landing one largemouth a piece. Both fish were 15.5 inches This is actually pretty darn good work given the lakes reputation for giving up only one or two bass per trip and the fact that we only put in an hour and a half worth of fishing time.
