Juniata River, slow day on the water

The smallmouth bass fishing has been great on the Juniata River near Lewistown recently but the low water and sunny sky made things a little tough today. I managed to land 3 smallmouth bass in two hours of fishing. the largest being 13.5 inches. All came on 4″ Yum Dingers.
Time
8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
Weather Conditions
Sunny with temps in the high seventies.
Water Conditions
Estimated high 80’s. very clear and very low.
Pattern
All the fish came from the tail end of a long pool which was funneled into a narrow shoot created by a trestle bridge. Water was roughly 3-4 feet deep. This is a good summer time hot weather pattern. With limited time we did not have time to fish similar areas, but if I was a betting man I’d say we would have caught more fish given time to do so.
Bait
Yum Dingers where the ticket. The baits were texposed with no weight.
