Kettle Creek smallmouth bass, fast and furious action!
Tuesday, August 15th, 2006My fishing buddies and I experience two hours of fast paced action on Kettle creek today. We only fished for two hours smack dab in the middle of the day but landed 22 smallmouth bass. This is a catch rate of one smallmouth every six minutes! Low water had the fish stacked up in the holes. We only fished about 150 yards of the stream to catch these fish. Most smallies were in the 12 inch range. The largest two fish were 13 inches each. Shade was the key today!
