Hey guys, I'm one of the goofy Ohioan's that love PA rivers so much that I more often than not make the drive. I love fishing the Allegheny river from the Refinery in Warren on down to Franklin. Great article guys with great lure picks however, don't forget about the 5 inch Zoom Lizard. Even though this is not my go to bait, I sure have had some great days fishing the old greenpumkin Lizard. See you on the river.

I've heard good things about Snake Bite lures.<a href="http://www.snakebite.net/" rel="nofollow">website</a>.

I don't have direct experience with the company or their baits so I can vouch for them personally. I've been wanting to try some of their water dogs.

Curwensville Lake, located in North Central Pennsylvania (Clearfield County) has a reputation for holding trophy-size smallmouth bass. Check out our website for info and many photos... http://www.curwensvillelakefishing.com

God bless,

I've fished many different rivers and lakes in Pennsylvania and beyond. The Juniata and Little Juniata are two of my favorites. As you can tell from the site, I fish a lot of different waters throughout the year.

Very good post. I couldn't agree more. I used to mostly fish tubes but have started using a senko type bait whacky rigged. Where do you fish? I fish the Susquehanna near Harrisburg and a small creek called the Swatara Creek.
