Free Fishing Days announced by the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission

The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission has announced the 2007 fish for fee days. This is a great opportunity for you to get someone interested in this great sport of fishing. My best fishing partner started under similar circumstances in his mid 20’s. All it took was a couple of nice smallmouth bass and he was hooked for life on fishing! I’ve included some very useful fishing links with this post to help get you started on the right foot. Good Fishing!
The PFBC has designated Saturday, May 26, and Sunday, June 3, as Fish For Free Days in the Commonwealth. Fish For Free Days allow anyone – not just license holders or youth under the age of 16 – to legally fish in Pennsylvania. From 12:01 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. on both days, no fishing license is needed to fish in Pennsylvania’s waterways. Fish For Free Days provide an opportunity for active anglers to introduce a friend or relative to the lifelong sport of fishing. Best of all, it’s a good time and a fun way to spend a day with the entire family.
