PA Fish Commsion Biologist Report Lackawanna Lake, Lackawanna County

The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission recently did a survey of Lackawanna Lake, Lackawanna County. The survey focused mainly on the nice panfish population in that lake such as bluegill and crappie.
Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission biologists recently completed survey work at Lackawanna Lake, Lackawanna County. This 198-acre impoundment located in Lackawanna State Park (about seven miles north of Scranton) is stocked with trout, is managed under Big Bass Regulations, and has a reputation for producing nice panfish.
